Another medical expert has weighed in. Dr. Maureen Condic is a Professor of Neurobiology and Anatomy at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She’s written books on fetal development and says, “There is now strong evidence” that an unborn baby at 12 weeks can have a “conscious experience of pain.” Professor Condic said there was “long-standing…universal scientific agreement” that unborn babies develop the connections between the baby’s spinal cord and brain to feel pain. This established scientific fact is especially noteworthy as the US Supreme Court hears oral arguments today on the Dobbs late-term abortion case. The Court will decide if Mississippi can protect the lives of babies who are 15 weeks or older in the womb. Please pray for a compassionate outcome.
