Abortion Pills Send Women to Emergency Rooms

Bradley Mattes   |   November 29, 2021

You’ve heard me say that chemical abortion pills are dangerous to women and fatal to their babies.  Here’s more.  A new study from Charlotte Lozier Institute shows these dangerous pills result in a significant increase in emergency room visits.  There’s an over 500% increase in emergency room visits for the women who take chemical abortion pills compared with surgical abortion.  Researchers analyzed close to a half million abortions and subsequent emergency room visits within a month of the procedure.  This is likely just the tip of the iceberg because they also found the emergencies were miscoded to reflect miscarriages, not a chemical abortion.  This should stop the Biden administration in its tracks from eliminating federal protections for women who take the pills.
