One person can really make a difference in saving unborn babies. Last year Argentina passed a bill legalizing abortion until 14 weeks. A private citizen presented an appeal, saying the law was unconstitutional and it went against international pro-life obligations of Argentina. Federal Judge Alfredo Lopez heard the case, agreed, and ordered the suspension of the law until the Supreme Court could ultimately decide. Judge Lopez’s ruling has been appealed and the law reinstated, but pro-lifers seem to be on favorable legal ground. Their point is this. The “genocidal law,” as they refer to it, conflicts with the nation’s constitution that protects life from fertilization. Please pray for the judges who’ll hear the case. Countless lives literally depend upon the outcome.
