On their website the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, DC states “the CBC has a long history of bipartisan collaboration.” And in this time of hyper concerns over racism, a bipartisan approach would be welcome and effective. When the newly minted Florida Congressman Byron Donalds who is black inquired about joining the caucus – not once but three times – he didn’t receive a reply. Is it because Congressman Donalds is a Republican? Could it also be that Mr. Donalds believes all Black Lives Matter, including the unborn? Abortion has killed more Black babies than all other causes of death combined. It’s sad when the stated purpose of an organization gets sidelined because of a political agenda that has no tolerance for other opinions.
