The state of New Hampshire is like several others in the Northeast that allows abortion throughout pregnancy. The newly elected Republican legislature wants to change that; however, they have a pro-abortion governor. But like most Americans, Governor Sununu is uneasy about late-term abortions. So, when an amendment was added to the budget protecting unborn babies at 24-weeks or older in the womb, he decided to not veto the bill. Abortionists who violate the law can face felony charges, including up to seven years in prison. Not every state has the votes to pass a heartbeat bill, but pro-life New Hampshire legislators are saving as many lives as they can, while always keeping an eye on the ultimate goal – ending all abortions in the state.
