Mississippi Law Brings Optimism

Bradley Mattes   |   June 23, 2021

Optimism is running high with the US Supreme Court’s decision to review Mississippi’s law.  It protects unborn babies at 15 weeks or older in their mother’s wombs.  The main question is can states protect babies prior to viability.  Science has come a long way since Roe v Wade.  Ultrasound opened an undeniable window to the womb, and viability which was about 28 weeks then is as low as 21 now.  Science also shows babies feel pain at 12 weeks or earlier.  Further, pro-lifers have built a social infrastructure to support women facing an unexpected pregnancy.  Yes, there are many reasons the Court should follow the science and end its brutal legacy of abortion throughout pregnancy.  Please keep this case and the Court in your prayers.
