Earlier I told you the people of Lubbock Texas voted by nearly two to one to make their city a sanctuary for unborn babies. The resolution ended all abortions within the city limits. Planned Parenthood the only abortion center sued to stop Lubbock from protecting its most precious renewable resource – unborn children. Federal district judge, James Wesley Hendrix, dismissed the lawsuit saying Planned Parthood lacks standing to sue the city. The enforcement of the ordinance is in the hands of private citizens who can sue abortionists for violating the ban. Judge Hendrix said he doesn’t have the ability to stop a private citizen from suing abortionists. Planned Parenthood announced they would not do abortions in the city. Praise God for this victory!
