Lavinia Mounga was 29 weeks pregnant when she boarded a flight from Salt Lake City to Honolulu. Halfway there Lavinia went into labor and delivered a premature baby boy, Raymond. Considering she and her newborn were over three hours away from a hospital, things looked bleak. However, God had placed a doctor and three neonatal intensive care nurses on board. They tied off the umbilical cord with shoelaces, kept Raymond warm with microwaved bottles, and an Apple Watch measured his heart rate. They kept him stable until landing, and now mother and baby are doing well. Whatever you’re facing today, remember that God is with you and He will provide.
