The Truth Won Out

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo sentenced thousands of the state’s elderly to death by mandating COVID patients be sent to area nursing homes.  The move that was later rescinded caused outrage around the nation.  Now New York’s Attorney General has released information that her investigation uncovered enormous discrepancies in how many deaths were reported by Cuomo and what the investigators found.  The number is likely to be increased by as much as fifty percent.  For example, one facility reported eleven COVID deaths when in reality, there were forty.  Throughout the controversy, Governor Cuomo has garnered favorable coverage from the media.  He even received an Emmy Award for his press briefings.  But now it looks like the truth has won out.
