There’s medical advice. There’s poor medical advice. And there’s really bad medical advice. A Chief Scientific Advisor in UK recently said, “We really don’t want 90 year-olds clogging up hospitals at this critical time.” Because he said they probably wouldn’t survive. Oh no? Ninety-year-old Geneva Wood of Washington state was in critical condition with coronavirus, but she was treated effectively and treated with respect. One doctor read her favorite scriptures to her every morning. Geneva said she could feel God’s hands upon her at night, so she wasn’t afraid. She relied on her faith and the prayers of her family and church members. Nineteen days after entering the hospital, Geneva went home, virus-free. Like I said, really bad medical advice.
