Thank Our Congressional Heroes

We had a big victory for America’s unborn babies and their parents – further evidence that elections have consequences.  Months ago, a bipartisan budget agreement in Congress agreed there’d be no pro-abortion amendments to the bill.  It didn’t take long for that to fail.  Senator Shaheen added one requiring funding of abortion overseas.  With a lot of help from the Government Affairs team at Susan B Anthony List and the pro-life leadership, the amendment was defeated.  It’s important we thank those who went to bat for the babies!  Please sign our online petition thanking Majority leader McConnell, Minority Leader McCarthy, Chairman Shelby and Ranking Member Granger.  Visit lifeissues.org and click on the red “Take Action Now!” box.
