ERA Attempting a Comeback

Pro-abortion members of the House of Representatives are trying to revive the long-dead Equal Rights Amendment.  Those pushing the ERA say it’s all about women’s rights, but don’t be fooled.  It puts into law a litany of cherished issues of the extreme Left —primary among them is abortion on demand throughout pregnancy, forcing taxpayers to foot the bill.  Infanticide, that is the intentional killing of babies who survive an abortion procedure, would be legal in all states.  Plus, it would invalidate existing state pro-life legislation throughout the nation because they conflict with the ERA.  An added downside is an amendment to the constitution, if passed, would be more binding than a ruling by the US Supreme Court.  We must be determined to fight the ERA on every front.
