Planned Parenthood Drops Out

Last week Planned Parenthood gave up nearly sixty million tax dollars earmarked for family planning instead of giving up abortion.  It’s convincing proof this giant of the abortion industry is all about doing abortions, not providing healthcare.  According to Planned Parenthood’s own annual reports, the number of abortions they do continues to increase while legitimate medical services dramatically decline.  They claim women will be denied healthcare if they lose this tax funding and that community health centers will be overwhelmed with the demand.  But there are thousands of these centers throughout the nation, and they offer legitimate, more broad-based health services.  The truth is, women don’t need Planned Parenthood.  They deserve better.  And they’re not the only winners.  The American taxpayers will also benefit.
