A Wisconsin man has been charged with attempted first-degree homicide of an unborn child. He ordered the chemical abortion pill online, then slipped it into his girlfriend’s water bottle without her knowledge to abort their baby. What takes this story to another level is charges have also been filed against a New York City woman for illegally sending the man these pills, using an online jewelry business as a front. She got the drugs from India. This underscores how women and their babies are put at great risk. This can’t be an isolated event. It’s a perfect opportunity for men who trade in human trafficking. They can order the illegal drugs online and force the women to take them. Law enforcement must police this to protect women and babies.
