In Vitro Fertilization Nightmare

A New York couple is suing a Los Angeles fertility clinic after a horrible mix up.  After two rounds of in vitro fertilization, a sonogram revealed they were expecting twin boys.  The problem was they only thawed two female embryos for implantation.  Sure enough, twin boys were born, plus the infants showed no visible sign of their parents’ Asian ethnicity.  Testing proved the boys weren’t related to the couple.  The boys weren’t even related to each other.  This couple was then immediately forced to turn the babies over to two sets of biological parents and they have no idea what became of their two embryo daughters.  I grieve for this couple who must be totally heartbroken.  I pray they will be encouraged to consider adoption.
