The Girl Scout cookie season is in full swing, so we’re getting questions about the organization’s involvement with abortion. Here’s the latest. The Girl Scouts Gold Award is the group’s highest honor, and it was given to a teen for her volunteer work on “reproductive health issues.” That’s a code phrase for supporting unrestrained abortion throughout pregnancy. The teen said her goal was to “destigmatize access to women’s healthcare.” The truth is, women’s healthcare is not stigmatized. Abortion is, and abortion isn’t healthcare. We have more updated information on the Girl Scout’s connection to abortion and Planned Parenthood. Visit life issues dot org and click on the microphone icon. Their cookies continue to be off my list of snacks.
