Lethal Bookends

I’ve often said euthanasia follows abortion like night follows day.  On the heels of New York passing an abortion bill that exceeds Roe v Wade in human carnage, a bill to legalize assisted suicide was recently introduced.  The proposed legislation doesn’t require a waiting period or a New York residence for those being intentionally killed.  As a result, the Big Apple won’t only be the only tourist destination.  The state would become a go-to place for death by suicide.  And there won’t be any of those pesky, revealing statistics to keep track of the number killed because doctors are required to list an illness as the cause of death, not assisted suicide.  Abortion and assisted suicide – the lethal bookends of a society that doesn’t respect innocent human life.
