Gemma and James Bryant were expecting twins but just halfway through the pregnancy her water broke. Their son, Kobi Nathaniel, was stillborn at 20 weeks. Doctors put Gemma on bed rest and told her expect the worst for the other twin. In the face of this overwhelming uncertainty, God placed His protective hand on little Lexie, and she remained in the womb for another critically-important 17 days. By God’s grace she was able to conquer her very early arrival and went home in May near her original due date. While the doctors’ predictions may have been based on medical experience, we should never underestimate the will and power of the Author of Life, God Himself. He’s got an amazing and perfect plan for Lexie’s life and we thank Him for sparing hers.
