A Touching Moment with the President

Bradley Mattes   |   June 19, 2018

Last month when President Trump was the keynote speaker at Susan B Anthony’s annual Campaign for Life Gala, a special moment occurred with the President.  During his speech, he talked about four-year-old Katharine Alexander who was born to an opioid-addicted woman.  Lisa and Bruce Alexander, both already near 50, felt led by the Holy Spirit to adopt her.  Katherine told her parents she wants to be a police officer someday and after she tires of that, she would become president.  The current president thought that was just fine, and called her and her parents to the stage.  Katherine later asked her parents if Mr. Trump would still be there when she became president.  It was a touching, real-life interaction with the world’s most powerful man.
