Standing on the Wrong Side of History

Bradley Mattes   |   January 31, 2018

This week the US Senate voted on the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.  It would’ve ended abortion after five months when the baby can feel horrific pain from the abortion procedure.  The process is so ghastly, I can’t share it on family radio.  The vote was fifty-one to forty-six, but we needed sixty votes to overcome a filibuster by pro-abortion Democrats and two Republicans.  It’s beyond tragic that these senators turned their backs on innocent babies who are brutally killed late in pregnancy, many able to live outside the womb.  In America’s past, during national debates on slavery and civil rights, we’ve seen people standing on the wrong side of history.  Sadly, history is repeating with abortion.  Some are defending killing babies throughout pregnancy for any reason.
