Dramatic events are unfolding in Iran, and women are at the forefront of the days-long protest. Iran is a nation where women are more often considered chattel than they are human beings. All this begs the question, where are the feminist leaders of Washington’s Women’s March one year ago? Where are the celebrities who talked about burning down the White House? Where are the feminist politicians such as Senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris? Where is America’s number one feminist, Hillary Clinton? All have remained stone silent while Iran’s women risk their lives protesting. In part it’s because they aren’t demanding an unfettered right to abortion throughout pregnancy. For America’s feminists it’s all about a leftist political agenda, not human rights.
