University Censors Pro-Life Students

Attorneys with Alliance Defending Freedom filed a federal lawsuit against Miami University of Ohio. The university, located in the vicinity of Cincinnati, thinks it has the right to censor speech of the local Students for Life chapter.  The pro-life students annually display a Cemetery of the Innocents with crosses representing lives lost to abortion.  This year officials said no to the display unless they circle it with “trigger warnings” because it may upset some students.  The pro-lifers’ attorneys say these restrictions violate the First Amendment.  This attempt at censoring pro-life speech on university campuses is all too common.  So I’m thankful for Alliance Defending Freedom and other worthwhile organizations that defend those who speak up for the babies and their mothers.
