One of Planned Parenthood’s flagship abortion facilities in St. Louis has an abysmal history of sending women to the hospital. That’s probably one of the reasons why the Missouri Legislature passed a comprehensive pro-life bill. In part it requires abortionists who perform chemical abortions have a written agreement with an OB/GYN who has admitting privileges at a hospital in case of emergencies. This commonsense protection for women is obvious to you, but not to Planned Parenthood of St. Louis. Spokesman Jesse Lawder actually said it “will create greater burdens” for women, and that “We are very concerned about what [the bill] is doing to women seeking access to care.” Doing to women?! They’re the ones sending women to the hospital. Women need protection from them.
