They say you should have a heart of thanksgiving all year round, not just at Thanksgiving. But life happens, and when it does, it can be hard to be thankful. It could be an unexpected pregnancy or maybe just one of the little things. When I’m down, angry or sad, I begin a prayer of thanksgiving to God, starting with a list of whatever comes to mind. Without fail, well before the list grows very long, I have a newfound attitude. It’s hard to stay angry or anxiety-filled when you have so much to be thankful for, most importantly, salvation through Jesus Christ. And let’s face it; the holidays can be stressful times. When life gets you down, start your own prayer of thanksgiving. From all of us at Life Issues, have a very Happy Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for YOU.
