Prayers for Carrie

Please pray for Carrie DeKlyen.  She and her husband have five young children.  Carrie was diagnosed with brain cancer just before finding out number six was on the way.  She’s had two surgeries, but the cancer has come back both times.  She and Nick said no to a clinical trial because doctors said she’d have to first abort her baby.  Currently, they’re trying to keep Carrie and her unborn baby girl alive until the twenty-eighth week of pregnancy when the preemie has a better chance of survival.  Carrie is in desperate health, so please pray her unborn child will live.  Please also pray for Nick who struggles with the likely death of his wife and raising six young children on his own.  May God give him the strength to endure and the faith to trust God’s plan.
