It’s one of those ironic days in the pro-life movement. Recently we celebrated Texas Governor Greg Abbott signing a bill banning taxpayer funding of abortion through insurance plans. Any plan that includes abortion means subscribers are underwriting the procedure when claims come in. Insurance works by having people paying in more than what’s being paid for procedures. The same day in Oregon, Governor Kate Brown signed legislation forcing all insurance plans cover abortion 100 percent with no copay. This means the people of Oregon are ultimately paying for everyone’s abortions in the state, including illegal aliens. This shows just how important it is to vote for pro-life candidates because it literally means babies live or die, depending upon who controls state government.
