Forced Abortions Kill Woman

I’ve often spoken out against China’s brutal population control program that includes forced abortion.  Yueyue and her husband had a daughter and he wanted a boy, so with subsequent pregnancies, he had her undergo ultrasounds to determine the sex of the babies.  During four pregnancies the ultrasound showed Yueyue was carrying an unborn girl.  Four times the husband forced her to have an abortion, which ultimately took a serious toll on his wife.  Instead of taking care of her, he divorced Yueyue.  She took her modest divorce settlement to the hospital to pay for treating the physical damage of the abortions.  Tragically, the doctors were unable to save her and she died.  China’s abortion policy has resulted in a serious gender imbalance and more pain and death than we can imagine.
