The superintendent of Saline Area Schools in Michigan had enough sense to first ask the community what it thought before implementing a Planned Parenthood sex ed program. Planned Parenthood wanted to send in trained teens to teach part of the sex education curriculum. The superintendent was mighty glad he asked local residents first. His public statement on the matter was telling. “It is very apparent that moving forward with any Planned Parenthood curriculum would be too divisive.” Several residents said Planned Parenthood promoted promiscuity and abortion; it has been a failure in schools and isn’t about health, it’s a social movement. They’re right on all counts and area kids will benefit from their parents and other concerned citizens protecting them from its social agenda.
