Politicians have long been associated with talking out of both sides of their mouths — meaning they say contradictory things to appease everyone to get re-elected. Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia has taken this art to a new low. He recently posed with a young pro-abortion woman and was holding a sign that read, “I Stand With Planned Parenthood.” Just weeks later, he was photographed with young pro-life women; this time he held a sign reading, “We Don’t Need Planned Parenthood.” You and I need to hold politicians who work for us accountable for their actions. There are many good elected officials, but when one appears to be practicing political prostitution, tell them you don’t approve. Otherwise the bad behavior will continue — just like a spoiled child.
