Pro-lifers are falsely accused of not caring about human life once the baby is born. Here’s another example why it’s not true. March 25 has been designated by the government in Peru as the Day of the Unborn Child. Every year, pro-lifers hold a march for life in the nation’s capital of Lima where three-quarters of a million participants have come to be faithful, living witnesses to the sanctity of life. This year, devastating flooding left hundreds of thousands homeless and many dead. So march organizers canceled the event and urged pro-lifers to volunteer to help flood victims and donate desperately needed water, clothing and food. Next time you hear someone say pro-lifers are only concerned about unborn babies, share this example with them. It’s just one of many.
