Medical Professionals Exclude Parents

Parents, you probably think the American Academy of Pediatrics advocates for the best interests of your children and has your back as a parent. Not always. When it comes to abortion, the group reaffirmed its opposition to parents even being informed before their minor daughter can have an abortion. Their statement simply regurgitates Planned Parenthood public relations bullet points. They’d exclude parents from the decision whether or not their 15-year-old daughter has a surgical procedure — replaced by a paid abortionist. It’s abandoning victims of sex trafficking or abusive relationships when abortion’s used to cover up crimes. Parents, this thinking often goes into exam rooms with your children, so always be present when they’re treated by the nurse and doctor.
