Why the Supreme Court is Important

Bradley Mattes   |   October 25, 2016

Many people have stated the importance of the US Supreme Court when it comes to the presidential election because the president nominates these justices, as well as appellate and federal judges.  A prime example is a case unfolding before us.  The liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled California pro-life pregnancy centers must promote abortion by telling women where to get free abortions, paid for with state tax dollars.  These centers must also give women phone numbers of abortion mills where they can get the free abortions.  It’s a blatant violation of free speech and forces those working to protect mother and baby from abortion to participate in killing the baby and putting moms at risk.  From here it goes to the Supreme Court, so whoever nominates the justices is very important.
