Celebrate July Fourth with Prayer

Today’s a national celebration of America and the freedoms we hold dear.  If you’re like me, the changes we’ve experienced in the last few years have added a level of concern to our July Fourth festivities.  Such as the obvious erosion of our God-given religious liberties and the Supreme Court’s view of the basic right to life of our nation’s unborn children.  If the thrill of gazing on Old Glory has lost some of its passion, here’s advice you and I must follow.  Get on your knees and thank God for this magnificent country, seek His face on behalf of a lost American culture and ask our Creator to bring us back to Him with repentant hearts.  This year, more than any other year, spending the Fourth of July in prayer is the best thing we can do for our country.
