It’s common sense. Schools that give out free condoms actually encourage teens to have sex. Now there’s solid evidence we’re right. A study from the University of Notre Dame show schools that distributed condoms to students experienced a ten percent higher rate of teen births. The research shows teens—and twice as many males—felt the condom promotions sent a message sex was expected. Those who promote abstinence until marriage weren’t surprised at all. By the way, the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute released a study which found increases in abortion rates in six countries when contraceptives were promoted in schools. When schools do this, they’re inferring there aren’t any consequences of sex before marriage. The big question is, will they look at these results and change their ways?
