An ectopic pregnancy is any pregnancy when the baby’s located outside the womb. In most cases the baby’s in the fallopian tube. The symptoms are severe pain and bleeding and the mother’s fertility, health and life could be jeopardized. This was the case with Sadie and doctors had to remove her tube with the baby inside. It took two blood transfusions and a five-day hospital stay. Later, Sadie and her husband, Gary, were still grieving for their baby when Sadie felt ill. Surprisingly, she conceived twins and the other baby was safely nestled in her womb—she was still pregnant! The tiny boy who they’ve named Teddy is due in November and appears to be healthy. Their grief turned into joy for the child who lives and will bring much happiness into their lives.
