Hundreds of Chilean Experts Say Abortion Hurts Women

Bradley Mattes   |   March 10, 2016

The Chilean College of Psychologists has declared in a report that abortion isn’t detrimental to a woman’s mental health.  Not surprising is what they left out of their report.  Over two hundred mental health professionals—medical doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists—say there’s “sufficient evidence” abortion hurts women and their families.  Further, this same group says there’s “no evidence whatsoever” abortion helps the mental health of women.  The official report claims there’s no such thing as “post-abortion syndrome” but this is nothing more than a technicality because there’s no official title of “post-rape syndrome” either, but we all know it exists.  The latter group says the College is “politicizing science” and in the process seriously losing their credibility.  I’m with them.
