January is a treat for many of us who’re involved in the pro-life movement. It’s the annual March for Life in Washington, DC where over a hundred-thousand people gather as living witnesses against legal abortion. This year was an adventure. We gathered in DC knowing a blizzard had the area in its crosshairs. Even though it was a smaller turnout, the size was still very impressive. As usual, young people made up the vast majority of marchers. It started snowing at the beginning of the march and was coming down hard by its end. Most of us hunkered down in our hotels to wait out the storm. During that time, we met new friends and were able to plan strategies for saving life. God often uses unexpected situations to further His kingdom—blizzards included.
