Congress Moves to Impeach IRS Commissioner

Finally, Congress is doing something worthwhile—the Republicans anyway.  They introduced a resolution to impeach IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.  In this highly unusual move they’re charging him with lying to the public, destroying evidence and lying under oath.  There’s plenty of evidence the IRS targeted pro-life and conservative groups.  And the Department of Justice decided to do nothing, thus the impeachment proceedings.  One of the primary guilty parties is Lois Lerner, but the Commissioner destroyed hundreds of tapes containing what were likely thousands of emails showing Lerner’s guilt.  She pled the fifth at a congressional hearing.  It sickens me that there was such widespread  violation of the law, yet the President and gang will do nothing because we’re considered the enemy.
