There is Always Hope

Bradley Mattes   |   September 18, 2015

Sara Jones read an old journal to find out her mother tried to abort her. Her mom went in for a late-term saline abortion which, burns the skin off the baby. But in Sara’s case, it didn’t work. Then something happened that changed the whole situation and saved Sara’s life. Sara’s mom, a drug addict, wrote in her journal that she felt Sara scream. As a result, she demanded they stop. Sara was born premature, which has been blamed for her asthma and hearing difficulties. Sara, who’s grown up with her aunt, was at first furious but has now forgiven her mom. Among her life goals are a degree in sociology, marrying a God-loving man and having beautiful children. Her advice to women contemplating abortion, “There’s someone who’ll love your child so don’t give up hope.”
