Euthanasia for Children in Colorado

Earlier this year I was talking to friends about Belgium making it legal to euthanize a child of any age. I worried that America might try to follow suit and was ridiculed for being a radical thinker. Well, it’s already happening. Assisted suicide proponents in Colorado are submitting an initiative to their state’s constitution to legalize physician-assisted suicide. What’s especially alarming is the wording, which would allow patients who’re medically incompetent to be euthanized. This includes children. And if passed, it could be done on people without their consent. After Belgium legalized euthanasia, it took only 12 years for them to get to the children. We must remain vigilant at home because euthanasia’s claws are quietly working to embed themselves into American society.
