Hidden Victims of Abortion

A group of people were displaying pictures of abortion victims in a downtown area. Out of nowhere, a young man came up and started throwing black paint onto the large pictures. One of the pro-lifers said, “He went crazy.” The young man was arrested and charged with vandalism. What got my attention was the pro-lifer said, “He went crazy.” I counsel fathers who’ve lost children to abortion and the symptom I always see is anger. Early pioneers of counseling grieving fathers coined the term “hooking.” That’s when a man sees or hears something that reminds him of the abortion and he responds in a fit of anger. I’m not saying this vandal has experienced abortion, but it is a possibility. You and I must pray for all the victims of abortion—the baby, the mother and even the hidden victims like the father.
