David Baxter was a paramedic and owned an ambulance service. His wife was pro-life but he was pro-abortion. This made for arguments between the two over the years of their marriage. Then while working, a call for an ambulance forever changed David’s mind on how he viewed abortion. When they got to the scene, a girl only fourteen-years-old was in labor and in the process of miscarrying her baby of seventeen weeks. David drove her to the hospital, handed her over to the medical staff and went out to clean up the ambulance. While doing so, the nurse—for reasons unknown to him today—came out with the unborn baby and showed it to David. Reality hit him like a ton of bricks and from that moment on he’s been an avid defender of unborn babies. Truth changes hearts.
