There’s always a pro-life group thinking outside the box. In this case it’s Secular Pro-Life, a group void of any religious belief. It’s president, Kelsey Hazzard, herself nonreligious, brings new insights into the movement. Recently they launched a program called Prevent Preterm, a campaign to educate the public about three known preventable risk factors of premature birth. They are: smoking, a lack of prenatal care and abortion. Their website shares information on the effects of smoking on unborn babies. They also link pregnant women with over two-thousand pro-life pregnancy resource centers for free prenatal care. And they prominently share that over one-hundred studies link abortion with premature birth. Talk about meeting women where they are! This will save babies.
