Superintendent Jeff Schatz with the Fargo school district in North Dakota is getting unwanted attention from a law firm representing some of his pro-life students. Kids from local high Schools were denied a request to form pro-life clubs. Non-Curricular clubs enjoy the benefit of using the school name, hosting events and advertising their message on school grounds. Schatz is charged with violating the pro-life students’ rights under the federal Equal Access Act and the First Amendment. They’re being discriminated against even while the school allows a gay group to exist. Brigid O’Keefe had no problem starting a book club, but she was asked invasive questions about the pro-life club including the students’ religious affiliations. Let’s pray the school changes its mind.
