National Association for the ABORTION of Colored People Stands

It’s fun when the good guys win. Ryan Bomberger heads the Radiance Foundation. As a black pro-lifer, he was upset the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was so pro-abortion. He began calling them the National Association for the ABORTION of Colored people. This resulted in the group suing him. It was such a violation of his First Amendment rights; even the ACLU took Ryan’s side. Recently, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a lower decision against Ryan and gave the NAACP a legal smack down. In their ruling they rejected their attempt to “obstruct the conveyance of ideas, criticism comparison and social commentary.” Adding, “Political discourse is the grist of the mill in the marketplace of ideas.” Yea for Ryan and the First Amendment!
