A new campaign has gotten underway to increase the number of babies being born in a European country. It’s called “Do It for Denmark.” And the “it” in this phrase is what you’d imagine. Marital love that results in children. Officials are also offering parents of one child free childcare to have a “date night” with the goal to conceive a second baby. Denmark and pretty much all of Europe are literally desperate to reverse their declining population. Italy’s health minister recently called his nation a “dying country.” What nations need to do is help change the worldview that’s been coined a “culture of well-being,” that is, travel and material possessions are more preferable than having children. It begins with ending abortion and teaching that children are a cherished gift from God.
