Connected Through the Love of a Child

During this special Mother’s Day programming I want to celebrate two kinds of mothers. Those who place their children for adoption, and the moms who welcome them into their homes. There’s no higher earthly love than mothers who put the needs of their babies ahead of their own and make an adoption plan. If you’re one of them, you have my endless admiration and love. I thank God you’ve allowed Him to bless others by your love. To the moms who open your hearts and homes to these children, you raise and nurture children not of your own flesh and blood, but love and cherish them no differently than if they were. Two mothers, connected for a lifetime through the love of a child. You’re the epitome of what Mother’s Day is all about. And on this special day, I ask everybody to keep you in their prayers.
