IRTLF Statement: Irish Parliament Decision

Cincinnati, OH (Feb 11, 2015) – Statement from International Right to Life Federation President Bradley Mattes regarding the Irish Parliament’s decision to vote down a bill that would have allowed disabled children to be aborted.

Pro-abortion politicians in Ireland had its most vulnerable citizens in the crosshairs. They were using children with disabilities to expand legal abortion in Ireland and I’m delighted that they went down in defeat by such a large margin. The people of Ireland cherish their greatest natural resource—unborn babies.
