The Bond is Strong

Ashley Bridges turned down chemotherapy to treat her bone cancer because she was pregnant.  After her daughter was born, tests revealed the cancer had spread throughout her body.  Ashley’s story isn’t all that rare.  During the past year I’ve read a handful of similar cases.  They demonstrate in breathtaking fashion the bond God creates between a baby and mom.  God instills in both parents a very strong desire to provide for and protect their children.  That’s why abortion’s often so devastating for parents who choose what they thought was the easiest way out of a crisis.  I can’t tell you how many mothers and fathers have told me they’d give anything—absolutely anything—to change their decision to abort the baby.  Please join me in praying for these hurting parents.
