A six-month premature baby in China was unexpectedly born at home. The father thought the child was dead, so he left her and accompanied his wife to the hospital in the ambulance. Once there, doctors encouraged the father to bring the baby in to make sure she was dead. But the woman’s mother had already buried the baby under a tree in their yard. The parent rushed back home and dug up the still living, very premature baby. After just three days, doctors sent the baby home because the parents ran out of money. But media attention resulted in people sending donations and the baby was returned to the hospital. So far, this tiny girl is surviving against all odds.
